Scientists successfully generate gasoline out of thin air
Breakthrough technology takes carbon, hydrogen and oxygen from CO2 and water in the air to create methanol and then converts it into gasoline.We’ll never hear about this again. And we may never hear from those scientists again.

Atoms Alien to Our Solar System Detected

Early this year, NASA’s Interstellar Boundary Explorer, the centerpiece of a $169 million mission mapping the frontier of the sun’s influence, detected atoms from interstellar space streaming by Earth that are different from the chemical make-up of the solar system.
“Our solar system is different than the space right outside it, suggesting two possibilities,” said David McComas, IBEX principal investigator, at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. “Either the solar system evolved in a separate, more oxygen-rich part of the galaxy than where we currently reside, or a great deal of critical, life-giving oxygen lies trapped in interstellar dust grains or ices, unable to move freely throughout space.”
The IBEX satellite observed hydrogen, oxygen, neon and helium atoms that originated in interstellar space, the vacuous medium between stars in the Milky Way galaxy and found 74 oxygen atoms for every 20 neon atoms in the interstellar material, compared with 111 oxygen atoms for every 20 neon atoms inside the solar system. Most of the interstellar medium is made up of hydrogen and helium. Heavier elements, such as oxygen and neon, are spread by exploding supernovae at the end of a star’s life cycle, according to NASA.

More planets, more possible life: Discovery of planet around Alpha Centauri will accelerate search for E.T.
It remains in the realm of science fiction for now but the discovery of a new planet just four light years away will reignite a race to find a twin of planet Earth that may host extraterrestrial life.
The step change comes as the most powerful telescopes ever built are about to enter into service and as ideas about where life could exist are being turned on their head. At the same time, scientific discussion about the possible existence of alien life is becoming more mainstream.

Sorry for lack of updates! I’ve been on vacation soaking up the amazing fresh air out here in the Atlantic provinces of Canada. The stargazing is spectacular and the internet access, limited.
I will be home on either the 14th or 15th, but I promise to keep myself busy after updating you all on any UFO sightings and articles.

There are alien skeletons in the possession of the Chinese government which were found buried in caves alongside strange “Dropa Stones” in the mountains of Tibet. These skeletons had oversized crania, massive eye sockets, very short bodies and many other anomalies which defined them, anthropologically speaking, as non-human. Perseid meteor shower peaks early SundayThe annual Perseid meteor shower will begin Saturday, with the peak occurring in the early hours of Sunday morning local time. The number of visible meteors is generally lower than during December’s Geminid meteor shower, but the Perseids are frequently more observed because they occur during warmer weather and in a vacation month.
The shower gets its name because it appears to originate in the constellation Perseus, but the stars have nothing to do with it. Meteors are actually fine bits of dust that originate within our solar system. Meteor showers occur when the Earth passes through the dust belts. The Perseid meteor shower is caused by remnants of Comet Swift-Tuttle, which passed close to Earth in 1992, but won’t approach closely again until 2125. The shower was particularly abundant in the years surrounding the comet’s last close approach, but enough dust remains behind to give a good show.
